Wegovy® & Mounjaro®
At LIVVE, we offer clinically prescribed weight-management injections as part of a safe, supportive and medically led service. These treatments are not quick fixes and are only prescribed following a full clinical assessment.
We currently prescribe Wegovy® (semaglutide) and Mounjaro® (tirzepatide), where clinically appropriate.

Both Wegovy® and Mounjaro® work by supporting the body’s natural appetite-regulating hormones. They can help you:
- Feel fuller for longer
- Reduce appetite and food cravings
- Improve portion control
They are taken as a once-weekly injection and are most effective when used alongside healthy lifestyle changes.

Wegovy® contains semaglutide, which mimics a hormone (GLP-1) involved in appetite regulation.
It may be suitable for people who:
- Are new to prescription weight-management treatment
- Prefer a well-established GLP-1 option
- Meet clinical eligibility criteria following assessment

Mounjaro® contains tirzepatide, which acts on two appetite-regulating pathways (GIP and GLP-1).
Some patients may experience:
- Stronger appetite suppression
- Improved satiety
- Greater weight-loss response
Suitability depends on individual medical history and clinical assessment.

These treatments are not suitable if you:
- Are pregnant or breastfeeding
- Have certain thyroid conditions (including medullary thyroid cancer or MEN2)
- Have specific gastrointestinal conditions
Common side effects may include nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea or constipation, particularly when doses are increased. These will be discussed fully during your consultation.

These medications are prescription-only and are not suitable for everyone.
You may be considered if you:
- Have a BMI of 30 kg/m² or above, or
- Have a BMI of 27 kg/m² or above with a weight-related health condition (such as type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure, raised cholesterol or sleep apnoea)
Eligibility also depends on your:
- Medical history
- Current medications
- Previous weight-management treatments
A prescription will only be issued if clinically appropriate.

In your virtual one-to-one consultation, we review your medical history, current medications and health goals to ensure treatment is clinically appropriate.

If suitable, we recommend the most appropriate treatment option based on your individual needs and clinical assessment.

4. Deliver & Follow-up
Once approved, treatment can be supplied with ongoing reviews and monitoring built into your care.
