Utrogestan 100mg is a capsule containing the hormone progesterone. It can be taken alongside a tablet containing the hormone oestrogen as a combined hormone replacement therapy (HRT).

Utrogestan can relieve menopausal symptoms such as:

  • Hot flushes and night sweats
  • Improve mood disorders
  • Poor concentration
  • Fatigue
  • Reduced libido

Utrogestan should only be used in perimenopausal and postmenopausal women. It should be used together with oestrogen in the form of HRT in women with an intact uterus.
