Reorder your prescription
Before we issue your next prescription, we’ll ask a few quick questions to understand how your treatment is working for you.
This helps us keep your treatment safe, effective and personalised.
Frequently asked questions:
What is the LIVVE re-order service?
Our re-order service allows existing LIVVE patients to request a repeat private prescription for ongoing menopause and perimenopause treatment that has already been recommended by one of our clinicians.
Is this re-order service available for weight loss medication?
No. This re-order service is currently for menopause and perimenopause patients only.
If you are a LIVVE weight management patient and need to re-order your medication, you can simply send our team a message or start a new consultation via the Weight Loss section of the website.
How much does a re-order cost?
A re-order prescription review costs £30. This covers the clinical review and issuing of a private prescription where appropriate.
Does the £30 include the medication cost?
No. The £30 fee covers the prescription review and prescribing process only. Medication and delivery costs are charged separately.
How do I request a re-order?
Simply complete the online re-order request form and make payment for the £30 prescription review. Our clinical team will then review your request and contact you if any further information is required.
What happens once my re-order is approved?
Once your prescription has been clinically re-authorised, we will send you an invoice via email containing your prescribed medication items. You can then securely purchase and pay for your medication online. Once payment has been received, your medication will be dispensed and delivered to your chosen address.
Who can use the re-order service?
The re-order service is available to existing LIVVE menopause and perimenopause patients who have already had a consultation and are on an established treatment plan with us.
Will I always receive my medication after paying the £30 review fee?
Not always. Patient safety is our priority. All re-orders are clinically reviewed by a prescriber and treatment will only be approved if it remains safe and appropriate for you.
What if my symptoms or medical history have changed?
If your symptoms, medical history, medications, or health circumstances have changed since your last review, we may recommend a follow-up consultation before issuing further treatment.
How often do I need a review?
In line with clinical guidance, patients require regular reviews to ensure treatment remains safe, effective, and appropriate. Our team will advise when a follow-up consultation is needed.
Can I change my medication through a re-order?
Minor adjustments may sometimes be possible, however significant treatment changes will usually require a consultation with one of our clinicians.
How long does a re-order take?
Most re-orders are reviewed within a few working days, although this can vary during busy periods or if we require additional information from you.
How will my medication be delivered?
Where medication is prescribed and dispensed through the LIVVE pharmacy, delivery options will be available during the payment process. We use regulated UK pharmacy delivery services.
What if I run out of medication?
We recommend submitting your re-order request at least 1–2 weeks before you are due to run out of medication to avoid interruptions to treatment.
Can I re-order if I have not been reviewed recently?
If it has been a significant period since your last consultation or monitoring review, we may ask you to book a follow-up appointment before further prescriptions can be issued.
Are LIVVE prescriptions NHS prescriptions?
No. LIVVE prescriptions are private prescriptions issued by our independent prescribers following a clinical assessment.
Who reviews my re-order?
Your request will be reviewed by a UK-registered prescribing clinician experienced in menopause care.
What medications can be re-ordered?
Re-orders may include menopause treatments, HRT, and testosterone (where appropriate) prescribed as part of your LIVVE treatment plan.
Why do I need to complete medical questions again for a repeat prescription?
We may ask you to update your medical information before issuing further treatment to ensure prescribing remains safe, accurate, and clinically appropriate.
What should I do if I experience side effects or need urgent medical advice?
If you experience severe side effects, worsening symptoms, or urgent medical concerns, please seek advice from your GP, NHS 111, or emergency services where appropriate.
